50 Questions to Start Conversations with your School-age Child

Questions to start conversations with your school-age child

I always ask the same questions… how are you? How was your day? I was starting to get frustrated because the kids rarely would respond with anything more than “good”. So I decided it was time to switch it up. We needed some questions to start conversations.

As part of our 50 Days of Kids Yoga Instagram series, I started asking my kids unique daily questions. Some of the questions were meant to trigger funny answers, some were meant to dig deeper (without being “annoying”) and some were just out of curiosity; but, ALL questions helped me learn a little more about what’s going on in those minds of theirs.

Here’s a list of questions to start conversations at breakfast, after school, over dinner or anytime to get to know your family a bit more.
